Kevin       "Coach Bee was my swim coach for about three years.  She was a great coach from the very beginning.  Bee pushed me, motivated me and made swimming fun.  She pushed me to a limit I didn’t know I had.  Even though it was often really hard, she helped me realized that I could actually swim that fast and get better. When I first started swimming for Bee, I didn’t like breastroke. Part of that was because I was not so good at it, and it was really hard.  But Bee told me she would make it my favorite stroke. Even though I thought she wouldn’t make it my favorite stroke, somehow she managed to do it.  I am excelling well in breastroke now and I love it.

Bee made swimming fun for me when I was younger so now I love the sport and never want to stop doing it.  Bee is so positive and that rubs off on everyone around her. It is impossible to be negative when you are with Coach Bee.  She was my favorite coach!

kevin Purcell       "I have had the pleasure to know Bee for many years. In that time, I have had the opportunity to witness her work ethic first hand. She is a well educated student of how to optimize performance. A look at her past history shows consistent accomplishment in all areas she puts her mind and body to work. We share common ground in our love for endurance sport, especially Ironman triathlon. What do I look for in a coach? I want someone who cares; who has personal experience and a past history of associating with successful mentors and coaches. Bee is very strong in all of these areas. Having overcome significant obstacles, in and out of sport, she will bring a real life experience to your training that is uncommonly deep."

Natalie       "I joined The Leukemia & Lymphoma’s, Team in Training Triathlon team a few years back. Bee was one of the coaches assigned to the Orange County Triathlon chapter. And, lucky for us... She was one of the best!
"Through her coaching Bee helped me improve in all aspects of the sport, especially the bike. She taught me bike fundamentals, bike positioning and explained how to find my proper “pace” cadence. Bee also provided simple, yet very effective tips to improve my transition time and helped me understand the benefits of training with a heart rate monitor. Not only is her coaching informative, but also her style is encouraging and nurturing.
"Training under Bee during my TNT triathlon season helped me stay injury fee and enabled me to meet my training and race goals."

Ian Murray       "One of the key elements to a good coach is passion and Bee has that in spades. I’ve had the chance to observe Coach Bee in both group and one-on-one sessions and I’ve found her to be attentive, caring, and enthusiastic. This is a coach who has perspective on triathlon and love for the sport, she’s a great one to have in your corner."

lori       "Having a coach makes all the difference in the world. 2005 was my first season as a Triathlete, and under the close supervision of coach Bee; I was able to complete my first Ironman in November of 2005. Without a coach, I’m not sure if I would have completed the race. Bee was there to adjust my schedule, monitor how I was doing, reminded me how important nutrition is, and helped me stay injury free throughout the season. Bee also coached me through the progression of Sprints, Olympic and Half Ironman distance races leading up to the Ironman.
"One of the reason’s I choose Bee as a coach was the fact that she has completed 9 Ironman Triathlon’s herself. Over the season she even competed in some of the same Triathlon’s as I did. This involvement gave me even more motivation and “hands on” coaching. Bee’s coaching has given me more than just a schedule to follow; she believes in my ability and knows how to make me successful. Triathlons are what motivate me, and Bee will help get me to the next level of success!"

gordon       "I've known Belinda since 2000 and have watched her grow as a person, coach and athlete. To me, what sets her apart from the pack is her consistently positive attitude. Having overcome a major injury in 2005 and returned to Ironman racing better than ever was a journey that demonstrated her mental toughness and the joy she gets from her athletics. This joy is evident in the energy, support and commitment she brings to her athletes."

gab       "Coach Bee coached the developmental age group program at the NOVA swim team with me, for three years. She is a self motivated person who always found ways to inspire and lead our young swimmers.
"Coach Bee is a very passionate athlete herself and her perseverance is contagious. I was lucky to be able to workout with coach Bee and she was a great motivator to me as well."

test       "I started racing with no direction or idea about how to train for a triathlon. All I knew was to run occasionally, bike for a while, and swim a few laps. Needless to say, improvement was difficult and training was dull. After training continuously without the results I expected, I decided to join Team in Training to get some advice and help through the coaches. This is where I met Bee and where I first encountered her phenomenal coaching abilities. With her brilliant, motivating, and compassionate attitude as a coach, Bee pushed me to my limit and made me the best athlete I could be in a positive and enjoyable environment.
"Bee incorporates her vast array of training and racing experience to structure a training schedule specifically for you. She personally met with me to work on my swimming and running techniques, which drastically improved my times in both events. Along with training, she is very helpful in the nutrition field. She helped me construct a diet plan to optimize my performance for both training and races. All in all, Bee is a very compassionate, knowledgeable coach who will push you to succeed and make you the athlete you never thought you could be."

test"I never thought I would complete an Ironman during my lifetime. Having done Marathons for a few years, I just never saw myself doing a full Ironman. In 2005, I completed my first Ironman with Coach Bee's help. Not only was this my first Ironman, but 2005 was also my first triathlon. My first year to ride tri bike and my first year to swim in open water. With no prior experience, Couch Bee took me to completing my first Ironman.
"During my training I learned so much, not only technique, nutrition and schedules, but most importantly I learned how amazing the people in this sport really are. From family and friends to the athletes, the volunteers, and the coaches.
"Coach Bee being on of those truly inspiration people for me. Her ability as an athlete, coach and her dedication to the sport continually showed. She is dedicated in making you reach your goals, flexible with her schedule, and provides consitant personal attention.
"Inspiration: Coach Bee is a true inspiration. Not only for her physical abilities, as she has completed over 9 Ironman Triathlons, but her dedication to the sport and what she believes in and loves. She is very passionate about the sport and this is reflected in her coaching.
"Flexibility: She is flexible. She is here for you and will do what it takes to work with your needs. My schedule was challenging at times, so she changed her normal training schedules to accommodate my lifestyle.
"Dedication: Her dedication to the sport and to her coaching is amazing. Always training rain or shine and pushing you to do the same. Always being available for any questions and or feedback.
"Personal Attention: Coach Bee spent many days coaching me on my swimming technique and bike form. Being the fist time in these sports she really worked through technique and nutrition, pushing me to get better. She followed up on a continual basis about status on my training and my nutrition. She was not hesitant at expressing her thoughts on my "lack of" nutrition. Obviously, I am still working on that part!
"Bee always made it known that she believed in me. She believed I could do this my first year participating in triathlons and she gave me the tool to the finish.
Thank you Bee."
